Wallet, recharge & billing

Tanvik uses a prepaid wallet for all WhatsApp message costs. You add credits, and they're deducted per message sent. Failed messages are always refunded automatically — you never pay for what doesn't deliver.
How the wallet works

Your wallet balance is separate from your Tanvik subscription. The subscription covers platform access; the wallet covers WhatsApp API message costs charged by Meta via RML.

Message typeCost per message
Marketing template₹0.95
Utility template₹0.14
Session message (within 24hr window)₹0.14
Authentication / OTP₹0.14
Failed message₹0.00 (auto-refunded)
Example: Sending a marketing broadcast to 1,000 opted-in contacts costs ₹950 (1,000 × ₹0.95). If 50 fail delivery, ₹47.50 is automatically refunded — your net cost is ₹902.50.
Recharge your wallet
01
Go to Wallet in the sidebar
Click Wallet in your left navigation. You'll see your current balance, recent transactions, and a Recharge button.
02
Click Recharge and enter an amount
Enter the amount in INR (minimum ₹500). Choose your payment method — UPI, net banking, or credit/debit card.
03
Complete payment
After payment is confirmed, your wallet balance updates within 1–2 minutes. You'll also receive a payment confirmation on your registered email.
View transactions

Every debit and credit is logged under Wallet → Transactions. Each entry shows:

  • Date and time
  • Type: Debit (message sent), Credit (recharge), or Refund (message failed)
  • Amount in ₹
  • Reference: which message or broadcast caused the debit
Low balance alerts

Tanvik sends you a WhatsApp and email alert when your balance drops below your configured threshold (default: ₹500). To change this threshold, go to Wallet → Settings → Low balance alert.

Tip: Keep at least ₹1,000 in your wallet at all times if you're running regular broadcasts. A low balance in the middle of a broadcast pauses it — and resuming requires manual action.
